hands that I watch and admire
wondering what possessing them would be like
if I had them for my own

wonderful hands
that shape, manage and mould
hands that are rock steady
what futures could I direct with them
these hands
that express confidence
that are graceful when talking
or just holding still
these hands
reaching out, encompassing
waving goodbye and leaving
these hands
captivate me
and in holding me still
capture me in all ways
